I’ve always been a fan of the Oscar Jacobson brand, they have been around longer than most golf apparel labels, and because of this experience and understanding of the market they continue to produce stunning ranges which are modern but still have that fashionable classical twist.

I was asked to produce a range of images of their tour ambassadors at the recent BMWPGA at Wentworth. The players were briefed that I would be shadowing them on Tuesday’s practise round.

I met up with Wade Ormsby and followed him for the 1st 5 holes, my brief was to capture the lifestyle shots that could be used for their new marketing campaign. If Wade was aware of the camera it didn’t really show and I managed to get several shots of him for OJ to work with.

Luckily both Richard Bland and Bradley Dredge were playing together so this made life a lot easier, they were having some fun on the course but their game faces were never that far away especially as I think there were a few side bets going on.

I went back on the Friday and the Saturday to get shots of their different outfits but even though I had a inside rope pass you don’t have the freedom to shot the same way as you would on practice days.

It was great fun working with the team and my reward for doing this is to become a sort of Brand Ambassador when I’m on my travels.

I’m eagerly awaiting by first delivery of OJ gear!
