Special 150th Open Edition St Andrews Swilcan Bridge
Back in 2005 my journey into Golf photography started with my very first commission to shoot all of the Courses at St Andrews for the Links Trust. On my first morning of shooting I wandered onto The Old Course knowing that a decent shot of the iconic Swilcan Bridge would be a good start to the day.
The early morning light on the bridge gave it a magical golden glow and I knew that I had a potential cracker.
I’ve since shot the bridge more times than I can remember but this image stands out as my favourite and so hopefully fitting to help celebrate the 150th Open later this year at St Andrews The Home Of Golf.
