Colt Hose is a stunning location just outside Newcastle, it consists of 2 courses the Filly and the Colt, I believe the grounds used to be a stud farm. I got the phone call about 4 months back saying that the new Colt course would be ready to shoot, could I come up!

I decided to drive up and left early enough to be able to shoot later that evening.

Then the dreaded M25 struck, as I waited in static traffic I could see my eta on the sat nav changing from 3.30pm to 8.30pm. Luckily I was still south of Heathrow so pulling over I managed to book a flight with BA and even arrange for Purple parking to pick up the car.

It was a bit tight but a few hours later I’ve landed at Newcastle and arrived at Close house mid afternoon.

The weather was fantastic and so the light was perfect for course photography, The views around the course are stunning and well worth a visit.
