After taking a much needed rest over the Christmas period, I was ready and looking forward to my annual first gig of the year, the Golf Monthly shoot in Abu Dhabi.

Traditionally this is where we get some great access to the players and also get to produce exclusive content for the rest of year.

This trip was no exception with quality time spent with Bernd Wiesberger, Jamie Donaldson, Alex Levy, Eduardo Molinari, Henrik Stenson, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Robert Rock and Ricky Folwer.

All players were on great form and at the end of each session we got them to take part in the Golf Monthly Kids Driver Challenge.

It’s amazing how all of the pro’s get involved once you tell them that other players have participated. First question is how many goes do I get followed by who’s the longest.

The challenge will be featured on the Golf monthly web site later this year.
